| a flat spot at 2500 rpm I could not tune out. Put the damper back, no more flat spot. I postulate that the setup I built had a resonant pressure wave at 2500 due to how I feed the injectors and the damper killed it. Other than emissions items, manufacturers rarely add parts that are not needed. If you have modded your setup, take it off and see what happens. As long as AFR's are OK and you don't see a drivability issue, I think it would be OK without.
KKROFFTNow occurs everywhere, simultaneously. But it doesn't have to be experienced the moment it happens. Every now that ever was is still exactly when it was, when it was now. Then, in terms of perception, is nothing more than all the nows that are no longer now. Thus, the difference between now and then is when. --The Waystoppers Users' Manual
